Cascade! Really! tastes more like fuggle to me. Considering this is a single hop beer, you would be forgiven for not knowing it had any cascade in it. That said it is a very drinkable tasty beer, but no cascade coming threw whatsoever.

500ml bottle from M&S in Bristol (now labelled as "Nottinghamshire Cascade Pale Ale"). A pale golden beer with a large loose white head that leaves nice lace rings. Light aromas of pale malts, grapefruit and pine with a decent citrusy bitterness on the tongue. Medium-light body with a soft mouthfeel and easy drinkability. A pleasant pale ale.

Bottle bought at the M & S at the Ardale Shopping Centre in Eastbourne. Pours out in a hazy orange-amber colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of hops, thyme and oranges. Taste of fresh hops, coriander, spruce, oak, thyme, flower, grapefruit and grass. Easy and smooth to drink with a dry-bitter, but mild finish. Enjoyed it.

Bottle form Marks and Spencer in Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Nice offering smooth hops with some caramel and nuts. Taste is really smooth and mild with slight bitterness and quite luxurious. A bit of rye also in the finish. Recommendable and classy.

Bottle at home from m&s cookstown
Slightly hazy burnished gold with thin offwhite head collapsing to lacing. Lemon cheesecake and shortcake note on the nose, full bodied, sweet biscuity malt with a lemony snap. Brief finish, dry, but lacking hop punch

stravale (2280) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle from Marks and Sparks, Enniskillen [190614]
Amber, clear, big frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of grapefruit, soft floral notes, some zest, slight lime
Taste of sweet pale malts, some grapefruit, citrus zest, fairly bitter spicy hops, flavour got slightly dull by the end of the bottle
Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite oily, more sweet malts than bitter hops. Finish is fairly bitter, bit more spicy and grassy hops coming through.
Overall - Decent enough pale ale, but didn’t come across quite as good as the single hop Mosaic
