Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Deep amber with next to no head. More of an ale than beer, although its nose does have an associated aroma for a wheat, infused with a gentle red berry sweetness.

Poured reddish amber with a frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet berries and floral hops. Light body, flavour is refreshingly sweet berries. Pretty much just juice.

2x 330ml bottles reduced to clear in Newcastle M&S. Poured chilled into a Hoegaarden snifter. Clear deep pink with an off white head. Little discernible aroma beyond a faint hint of tea and cherries. Slightly sour, almost medicinal flavour: Cherry Tunes without the menthol eucalyptus? Fizzily carbonated, dry finish. Feels like they aimed for a Belgian style fruit beer and fell lamentably short.

Pours light red bordering on pink-ish with minimal light tan head. Aroma is sour (vinegar) and mash. Taste is sweet cherry fruit with a hint of wheat and flowery.

Bottle from m&s. Red ale with not much head. Aroma of forest fruits. Taste is wheaty dryness and a sweet fruitiness. Palate is dry and a bit fizzy. Didn’t really enjoy it, much prefer the cherry wheat m&s do.

33cl Bottle from M&S A’dam, Christmas gift, thanks K&P! Clear pinkish red colour, pink head. Aroma of raw wheat, grain, hibiscus, raspberry, not very sweet. Flavour of wheat, raw wheat, grain, something floral and fruity, medium sweet, wheaty finish. Light bodied. Not great.

Pours clear, reddish amber, pink head which quickly dissipates. Aroma is wheaty with a hint of flowers (hibiscus, I guess?). Very lively and sweet. Reminiscent of red soda. Not great.

Clear Ruby amber with no head. Not much aroma, and what’s there is your standard wheat beer. Flavor waffles between fruity and flowery (almost a bit kool-aid sweet) and wheat-y, in alternating peaks. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky, competing with a strong caronbation. Except for the strong, pleasant wheat flavor, this almost tastes more like a wine cooler than beer.

Przypomina rozwodnienego lambica. Pszenicy nie czuć. Nie jest złe, ale raczej nie powtórzę.

33cl bottle from M&S, The Hague. Thin white head. Floral aroma. Clear light red pour. Odd aftertaste. Not something I would like to drink again. Interesting idea though
