UPDATED: JUN 8, 2013 50cl bottle. An attractive golden amber with a flat white head; the aroma has some grain, honey and peachy tropical fruit; the taste the same with a slight sourness; followed by a grassy bitterness, and a sticky finish. Rather good.

Leighton (10538) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the M&S Stratford. Pours crystal clear gold with a slight, white foam head. Doughy, lightly buttery and biscuit pale malts in the nose, hints of hay. Medium sweet flavor, some white bread, biscuits, dough, faint hay, some tangerine merengue. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sticky sweet to finish, some further tangerine, doughy biscuits. Easy drinking.

Bottle at home from Euston station. Golden orange in colour with a slight haze and scummy thin white head. Aroma is herbal hop, yeast esters with a floral honeysuckle note. Flavour is mid sweet honey malt, grainy with floral hop finish. Mid carbonation. Overall a good beer, but a bit dull.

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2013
From Fosse. Veiled gold with a slim fine collar. Aroma of drains, hedges, TCP, hint of candy banana. Shrubby, herbal hints with dank and banana yeast; coriander (leaf) and parsley-like impressions; heavy mineral presence. Hard to believe it contains Nelson Sauvin. Too yeasty and phosphoric for my liking. A step backwards from Adnams.
