3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 worldbeertaste (1126) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2012
Dark amber colour with a lasting off-white head. Strawberry, blackberry, roast coffee porter smell. Chocolate caramel malt. Rich sweet caramel, coffee chocolate start with a strange sharp chemical bitter finish. Has elements of being a really great dark ale but loses it in the finish. The pasturisation ruined it. Nonetheless good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 scotty (959) - SCOTLAND - FEB 22, 2012
Nice malty nose, with hints of spice. Full bodied, packed with rich malt & spice flavours, smooth mouthfeel makes it dangerously drinkable. The finish is long lasting but is spoiled a bit by the high ABV which creeps in and throws it off balance! Not too bad tho!

330ml, M&S. Roast aroma. Dark body, thin lacing. Woody tasting, alcohol overbearing - could have done with some more of a fruity taste. Disappointing.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 suprchunk (1401) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - OCT 29, 2011
Dark ruby/toffee colored pour. A couple whitish bubbles rise to the top, but there is no head. No lacing. Rotten malt smell, with a bunch of sour metallic-ness. Taste is on par with the aroma. Not good.
