Theydon_Bois (7935) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle split briefly with JF on the Clapham Wash Road tasting, 30/12/13. In a paper cup displaying a dark amber colouration with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orchard fruit, bready malt, grain, light citrus, dull hops. Taste follows, pretty ordinary stuff, light citrus, grass, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying finish. Had this more down as a bitter than a GB!

BlackHaddock (3492) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2013
500ml Bottle conditioned: BBD Aug 2014, poured into a UK pint sleeve @ home on 27th Sep 2013. As the name suggests, this is a golden brew, mine was poured slowly, so no sediment left the bottle, this might have effected the white head, which although full, wasn’t too deep. Grassy, grainy nose with an almost sweet floral feel as it warmed in the glass. The taste was delicate more than full on: slightly bitter with a semi-sweet undertone. Hints of citrus fruits mixed with nuts and lightly roasted biscuits. Medium body depth and an OK brew, if slightly mild in flavour and intensity.
