2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2012
From Fosse. Pale gold with a fine creamy head and slight gauze of haze. Nose muted with yeasty, red apple and melon notes; some shrubby hop and farmyard further down the bottle. Pleasant, uncomplicated flavour with yeasty, apple peel tones; candy, traces of zesty, marmalade hop trying to break through. Mid bitter finish, a little chaff. Better than the no alcohol German Lager, but not by much.
