500ml bottle (ChrisO’s pre-GBBF2011 "Donkey Dork Lord" shindig)
Total straight-down-the-line middle-of-the-road bitter. Clearly made from beer ingredients, full malts, and pleasantly bitter hops, and with no flaws at all, but there’s nothing to grasp at, and make it any more than "meh".

From Fosse. Midnight on the patio, split with Octo. Pours bronze with a low white head. Slightly nutty, vegetative aroma lifted with brown sugar. Gentle, lightly resinous taste with woodland notes, stewed fruits, pear, clovey spice. Dry finish with a firm nutty aftertaste. Boiled sweet notes, spun sugar. Technically OK, not bland. But somehow dour. 636312
