Tap. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that retained as a thin film. The nose is pretty nice, heavy citrus and some piney notes. Not a whole lot of malt on the nose, but that’s fine by me, let those hops shine. The flavor has a nice bitter/hoppy balance, with the malt bringing up the rear providing a nice backbone. A little sweetness in the middle, bit a nice aggressive bitter finish with a touch of tropical fruits. Medium bodied with just a little resiny clinginess on the finish. Pretty darn good beer, this place seems to be hit or miss for me, but this one was a hit.

Draft. Pours clear gold with thin white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, straw, and sweet malt. Flavor is light sweet malt, heavy earthy and floral hops, and average citrus esters; dry finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, floral, fruity, and pine hops, cookie and biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, fruity esters and supporting malt with a dry finish. Full body, medium warmth and carbonation.
