COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A variation of a West Coast IPA, this India Pale Ale has a nice Copper color, and a slight caramel flavor from Caravienne Malt. Summit and Amarillo Hops, provide a nice grapefruit and citrus flavor and aroma. Sure to please the Hop Heads out there. OG - 13.5 FG - 2.4 IBUs - 62 - ABV - 6.0%

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of pale, bready malts and floral hops. Flavor of nice caramel malt, grassy/garlicky hops, with a bitter finish. Reminds me of Smuttynose IPA in character, although less hoppy. Good stuff. 7/4/8/4/15 [3.8/5]

Draft. Pours clear gold with thin white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, caramel malt, and straw. Flavor is light sweet malt, heavy floral and citrus hops, and average fruit esters; dry, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Faint hoppiness on the nose. Pours with a thin head and leaves little lacing. Not much on the tongue but more hoppiness on the swallow. Not bad but not quit West coast.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy orangish gold body with a minimal head. The nose is pretty nice, smells ultra-fresh with some grapefruit and lighter pine notes. A little caramel malt below the hops. The flavor is hop-forward and bright with citrus and resiny hop notes. Fairly heavy malt backbone without expressing much sweetness, it stays in the background pretty well. Medium bodied with a bit of resiny stickiness and nice firm carbonation. This was very solid.
