Can. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has skunky notes of brewing cereal combined with notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus, and brewing cereal, leading to a metallic finish.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
1 liter bottle bought in Kizilagac - very pale and clear golden-yellow colour; solid white head above; aroma of corn and other cheap grain; slightly oily and with a modest carbonation; some tartness and an aftertaste of rice - unpleasant

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
1L bottle. Green-gold with a loose disappearing head like apple juice and lemonade. Envelope adhesive and potato aroma. Grain and pencilly spruce upfront; dissolvable aspirin middle, finish difficult paracetemol astringency mellowed with rice and buttered corn. Just about drinkable, but probably the worst beer of the trip.

I got the 4.1% version. It is called Mamara Gold... I guess they changed the recipe or something like that. Can looks different as well. Anyway, it pours a gold yellow with a foamy white head. Has a mild grassy or grainy aroma very similar to countless other lagers. Slightly sweet with a candy undertone. Kind of bitter, but not really. Crisp. Has a somewhat dry German feel to it.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Giant 1 liter bottle with twist off, classy! Pale gold with no head. Aroma is sawdust and cardboard. Not offensive. Some plastic, though. Watery and thin. Utterly inoffensive swill is clean, decent, light and drinkable and drier than expected. The combination of sawdust, straw and cardboard is not that bad!

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The colour is dull light gold. Foamy artificial head. The aroma is mild grassy hop. Fairly thin body. The minerally palate is a bit fizzy. A light shade of bitterness comes through, but mainly due to lack of malt.
