22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep ruby/brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, some floral hops, a little dough, and some bourbon/vanilla tones. Flavor the same with a good blend of everything and a surprising amount of hops for an aged beer. Average to smooth texture. A pretty good beer.

This is a phenomenal bourbon barrel aged imperial Red ale. Wow this is the best beer these guys have made! Hope they do more barrel aged offerings in the future!

From bomber (limited to 1,800) into snifter pours a dark, deep, rich red brown with a thick tan head and lots of lacing. Smells like autumn, during halftime of a great football game, slight drizzle, piles of leaves burning, pinon smoke billowing from the chiminea, friends hovering around the grill while the marinated brisket cooks. Smooth taste with a bite in the back, a woodsy nut aftertaste but a hoppy front. Exactly what I was hoping for—well done.
