COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Atlas India Pale Ale is an ale with strength and character worthy of its name. Pale and caramel maltings of American two-row barley give Atlas IPA a malty backbone to support its noticeable, but not overpowering, hoppy flavor and aroma. Columbus, Amarillo, and Cascade hops are harmoniously blended together, bringing about floral and earthy tones which highlight this bold but delicious ale.

On tap at TapWerks OKC. Pours an amber with a small frothy off white head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a light hop and watery malt. A decent IPA from Marshall.

Hazy orange-amber pour into lingering frothy head that slowly dissipates into melting lacing around the glass. Aroma of sweet caramel, spruce and malty biscuit. Initial flavor of orange peel and malty caramel that fades into a bitter piney hop-grapefruit finish.

Little yellow head, red-orange beer. Orange marmalade, smell of decaying leaves. Orange marmalade returning in the mouth, very bitter, but also oxydize, old-tasting. Tired, oxydated, flat MF. Sample obviously not in very good condition, pity.

12 oz bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is a hazed amber brown with a 1/2 inch off white head that falls right away. The aroma is citrus orange fruit, toasty malt, and a bit of dry grass in the back. The taste is mostly the malt, a toasted, almost char maltiness, then some of the grass from the nose. The citrus isn’t really present in the taste. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level with a flinty, mineral almost dusty finish. Overall, this reminded me more of an Amber Ale. Granted, I enjoyed it, just was expecting more hop presence - perhaps this was older, bottle was not dated so who knows.

Pours a dark copper with next to no head. The aroma is almost nonexistent which is fitting because the beer is thin and bland. There’s a hint of hops somewhere in the middle and it finishes dry but not else much is going on. It is one of the least flavorful IPA’s I’ve ever had. Pretty disappointing cause the label was interesting. I don’t recommend!

Pours a hazy amber with a thin tan head...light sediment throughout. Aroma has some earthy/spicy hop notes and light caramel. Flavor is bitter and earthy with light caramel. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a nice bitter and dry finish.

Tap at Mike’s Wine Dive, Wichita, KS. Pours a decent amber with a nose of sweet rosy grapefruit and a hint of breaded orange rind. Flavor is malty grapefruit with a backbone of orange rind. Lingers on the tongue. Tasty.

12oz bottle pops and the beer is a slow gusher. This leads to an ice cream float head atop an orangish brown body. Way too thick to see through. This just isn’t my top of beer. I don’t like sweetness and too much caramel malt muddling up my hops. And the hops here are pretty uninteresting. Pretty head though.
