COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big Jamoke is an American Robust Porter named for the B-25 that Brewmaster Eric Marshall’s grandfather flew in WW II. A blend of five malts from Munich to Chocolate provide a deep mahogany color and aroma of toffee and roasted coffee. On the palate this beer is full-bodied with hints of bittersweet chocolate and toffee... while finishing smooth and dry from the addition of earthy hops. IBU - 55.

Pours black with a medium mocha head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma is nutty with light chocolate. Flavor has a nice roasty bitterness to go with chocolate and a slightly sweet toffee note...still some nuttiness. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a nice roasty chocolate finish that bitters nicely.

GABF 2011. Pretty black with no head. Aroma of toasty biscuit, faint chocolate malts, and black licorice. Flavor was on a very light body. Just had burnt malty sweetness. Not a fan.

On tap at TapWerks OKC. Pours a dark amber with a creamy beige head that lasts while leaving good lacing along the glass. The aroma is roasted malt and toast. Medium mouthfeel with a raisin malt and nice bitter hoppy finish. Easy to drink, a good porter from Marshall.

650 ml bottle courtesy of Soonah. Thanks. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown color with a big clumpy khaki head. The aroma is moderately strong with roasted grains and biter dark chocolate. The flavor is big and roasty with burnt toast, coffee, biter walnuts and dark biter chocolate. The palate is light but effective with soft carbonation. Finishes long, dry and biter. Overall: A very tasty porter, much appreciated.
