Bottle. As bad a looking beer in the glass as you can almost have. Murky orange with a small head. Every other taste is different than the previous. Bad, ok, horrible, drinkable.

Aromas of a slight, fruity complexity. The perfect color of deep amber almost a red ale. Tastes, roasty and nutty, nice hop bitterness on the finish, over all great style, well done.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jrodooo5 (158) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - APR 1, 2012
Aroma is full of malts. Appearance is a murky copper with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Moderate carbonation. A very nice, drinkable, well balanced beer. There’s nothing particularly special about this ale to me but it’s simply a solid beer. It has some bitterness up front & finishes clean and smooth. I could certainly kick back and have a few of these in a sitting. Nice job!

Pours a clear amber/ruby colow with a medium tan head. Aroma is malty...lightly fruity and wheaty. Flavor is nicely balanced with earthy, spicy hop notes and wheaty, bready, and lightly fruity malts. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and lingers with earthy notes.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 corby112 (1904) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2011
Pours a hazy dark copper color with a two finger, frothy beige head that slowly fades into a thick, lasting ring. Streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Subtle floral hop aroma with an earthy/ herbal character along with some faint spice and dark malt. Hints of pine an grass along with some carmael, cocoa and toffee.
Medium bodied with a decent balance of dry, earthy hops and slightly roasted malt notes. Piny and herbal bitterness but not too dry countered by a sweet malt backbone with hints of caramel, toffee and biscuit. Crisp, slightly bitter finish. Pretty quaffable but not something that I would want to have more than one glass of in a sitting.
