The Munich Dunkel was fermented using our German lager yeast, yielding a smooth but complex deep copper beer with hints of nuts and caramel. Mt. Hood hops have been used sparingly to provide balance for the sweetness of Munich, Pils and Vienna malts. A medium mouthfeel and lower ABV produce a smooth lager that is highly quaffable.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a clear deep red with a touch of chestnut and a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of earthy bread and dark grains with just a bit of roast. Flavor is similar with light roasted malts and dark grains with a touch of earthiness.
