3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thomas15 (297) - Missouri, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Exceptionally aromatic. Grassy floral and vivid. Cloudy dark gold with nice big head that dissapates to one finger and holds steady. Hoppy with some nice grassy touches from malt. Some fruit shows through and finishes bitter. Very impressive, perhaps a touch hoppy to be session able, but unexpectedly great....

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 NobleSquirrel (2677) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Draft at GABF. Pours a very attractive clear gold with a nice ring of foam. Nose is spicy, firm noble hops and then a burst of pils malt. Really clean and fresh. Hops are distinguishable and nicely balanced with the malt. On tasting, the bitterness is spot on, somewhat sharp and holding the full malt profile in check. Really clean and fresh. Refreshing. Excellent pils.
