3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: The pour is a slightly cloudy straw color with a fluffy white head.
S: Not the most pleasing of noses, I must say. Buttery and skunky with some slight fruit notes that seem to come out of nowhere.
T: A hint of skunk, but really a nice sweet fruit quality that sort of saves the beer. A biscuit malt base with a light bitterness and slightly spicy hops.
M: The body is on the light side, like you might expect. Highly carbonated, too.
D: I liked the flavor a fair amount but the nose was not doing it for me. That said, pretty light and easy to drink.

The Kit-Kat candy bar has the name ’Kit-Kat’ imprinted into the chocolate...that robs you of chocolate! That is a clever chocolate saving technique. 3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle purchased in Kansas - pour is dark gold with a slight haze (quite a bit of sediment in the bottle) - somewhat lively carbonation makes a moderately thick lace - nose is a little sweet, but it is a clean sweetness that compliments the bright, zesty, grassy and lightly citric character of the hops employed - soft carbonation in the mouth - flavor is much less sweet than the nose suggests - starts off with lightly crackery malts, which then make way for quite a dry middle that is full of peppery, grassy hops and moderate mineral note that all works well in the crisp finish - lingering bitterness and dry mineral on the tongue - not perfect, and just slightly off style, but quite a nice pils.
