2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Red pour with an off-white head. The aroma has some red malt as some earth. The flavor is more of the same. Tastes like your classic American red ale with some grass and earth from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Aroma of grass, orange zest and hops. Taste has an overall watery, washed out profile that’s a bit nutty, citric and hoppy. Weak to no aftertaste. Kinda bland, honestly. 6.5% alcohol.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at McNellie’s OKC. Pours a clear deep red with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a nice hop note with a bit of pine and crisp grass backed by a bread note. Flavor has a surprisingly hoppy note with crisp grass throughout supported by a nice light bread note.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a thin tan head. Nose is floral hops, citrus fruit, a faint ashy smokiness that strengthens at the end. Bitter and sweet in equal measure, with the bitterness lasting. Tastes around 40? IBUS. Chalky mouthfeel. Ash and bitterness stays on the tongue. I want to say that the ash is not offputting. The astringency of most amber ales is minimally present, also not offputting. I enjoy this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murky brown amber color out of the bottle with a thin beige head. Light grainy nose with some caramel sweetness. Malty beer with caramel, grain tea astringency, some dark fruit, and a long bitter grapefruit rind and grass finish. This is a very bitter amber.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a dark reddish color with a small tan head. The aroma was of a distinct piney hoppiness with lesser amounts of citrus. The taste was thick and syrupy character which included lots of strong hoppiness. Very good beer.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A - Murky light brown with amber edges. A thin off-white head sinks down to form a solid ceiling and a few streaks of lacing.
S - Green herbal hops, orange citrus, melon rind, sweet caramel malt.
T - Nutty malt, woody evergreen hop flavors, soft grain, orange peel, and hints of caramel around the edges. The citrus comes out more toward the end. Finishes bitter with earthy citrus hops lingering on the palate.
M - Medium bodied, good amount of carbonation.
This one’s got a little hop kick to it. Great flavors and the carbonation gives it a very soft feel. Highly drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big thanks to Scot for bringing this one with him to FL. Cheers, Scot! Pours a hazy brown-amber color with an off-white head. Nose is big burst of sweet lemony hops with all manner of citrus, some tea leaves, and some nice caramel. Flavor starts with some caramel then moves to big lemony hops then moves to finish with some herbal and tealike character then finishes with a big citrus punch. Outstanding, very hoppy, and at 6.5% is an incredible beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Classic pleasant, sweet, fruity red ale aroma. Smallish head, but it sticks well. Taste is absolutely delicious and very well-balanced: sweet toasty caramel malts, a little hop bitterness in the finish, and a dash of citrus fruit. Another winner from Marshall.
