COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Revival Red is an American red ale which pays homage to our great state of Oklahoma (the 46th state to join the Union). This sessionable ruby hued ale is perfectly suited to be enjoyed with the renewal that Spring brings to the Red Dirt State each year. A balanced blend of six malts gives this ale a medium body and a savory malt base. Chinook and Cascade hops shape a wonderful citrusy hop profile and the addition of Centennial dry-hops enhances the fruity aroma. The result is a revival for your taste buds.

On tap at Republic Gastropub. Pos ruruby amber with very small off-white head. Aromas of caramel and toasted malts with some citrus and hops. Flavors of caramel malts, some hop bitterness, and some citrus. Carbonation is a little off, but the hops and citrus help pull this one off. Solid amber.

Pours an opaque brown/ruby with a medium tan head. Aroma has earthy and citrusy hop notes as well as wheat, caramel and faint chocolate notes. Flavor is malt forward with light roastiness, faint chocolate, and earthy notes...some nice bitterness creeping in late with mild spicy hops...leafy and floral. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is earthy, bitter and dry.

[Tap] Pours a dark garnet color with a small beige head. Distinct piney hop aroma with lesser amounts of citrus. Thick and syrupy character includes lots of strong North American hops. Sweet rolls, some molasses and caramel round it out. Fantastic body and balance. Average carbonation levels. I was really pleasantly surprised with this one.
