Birdiebeagle (778), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 3, 2009 Bottle From WesKbob thanks buddy. Red wax. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a fizzy white head which seems to leave quickly. The lacing is decent. The aroma is of lemon and wheat. Has a decent cabonation. The flavor is okay but has a touch of metalic to it. It is a fairly refreshing beer. Lacks some depth but it is drinkable. Has a touch dry texture. An okay finish and a weaker aftertaste. Fun picnic beer. jzzbassman (838), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Jun 30, 2009 On tap at McNellies. Worst of the Oklahoma sampler, promising aroma and appearance, but vegetal flavor just ruined it. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jun 22, 2009 On tap. Pour is a typical cloudy orange yellow. Aroma is lacking, with only minor hints of wheat and lemon. Flavor is quite good though, with a great balance of wheat, malt, and citrus. Very refreshing in flavor, bland in aroma. jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA May 26, 2009 Bright hazy golden coloured body with a dense white head. Aroma of hay, grass, wheat, yeast and a little bit of coriander seed - nice aroma. Medium-bodied; Mild grassy and wheatie flavoured beer with some cardboard and mild tastes coupled with some light sweetness. Overall, a mild beer with not much flavour and a little odd taste near the end. Regardless, good to try as it looks like a new beer! I sampled this 65 cL wax-topped bottle purchased from Freeman’s Liquor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 05-May-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 23-May-2009. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA May 18, 2009 Pours hazy dark gold with a fading white head. Aroma and taste of orange peel with banana and spiced bubble gum. Watery body. swanmann (304), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Apr 23, 2009 From the bottle this poured nice amber orange tone with two finger off white head, lingers somewhat. Mild syrupy aroma of banana, caramel, grassy and damp grain and some spices. Nice full bodied wheat beer. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Apr 22, 2009 Clear amber with a lingering thin head. Tart wheat aromas with cloves and spices. Light body with a frothy mouthfeel. Refreshing flavors of tart wheat and light spices. Clean crisp finish. stefanje (937), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Apr 12, 2009 650 ml wax top bottle courtesy of Soonah. Pours a murky copper color with a small white head. The aroma is light with sweet malts and dust. The flavor starts subtle with mild wheat and some earthy spices then builds to a bubblegum and cotton candy sweetness. The finish is short with lingering honey sweetened biscuit. The mouthfeel is light with lively carbonation. Overall: A bit too sweet for me but still a very session-able ale. Thanks Oklahoma.
