1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle from Tesco, Hexham. This is a brown coloured beer with a sweet lemonade and slight red fruity and malty flavour with sugary sweetness on the finish.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear copper coloured, practically no head. Although it says ale shandy it tastes exactly like lager shandy with the lemonade flavour dominant.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle bought at local Tesco Extra and shared with MichaelBruch. Aroma of sugar pops and apples, taste of pure sugar with some thick beer syrup. Too sweet.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle shared with McTapps. I’m sure you must be a fan to like that style. In the end it’s just sugared water with some grainy and hoppy aroma within. I hated it because it was even sweeter than a bad made Radler.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Not bad, yet not good either. This beer has a peculiar taste due to added lemonade, but not a big deal

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml brown glass bottle from Morrisons. Oooooo, I do love a good shandy on a hot day, and this hits the spot nicely. Not too fizzy, and not too sweet, but with enough sweetness to give a lasting pleasure. Hints of ginger. Easy drinking, refreshing, tasty, and lots of fun. Weeeeeeeeee!

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Amber gold with a large off white foam. Aromas are weetabix and brown sugar with caramel and autumn fruit. Flavours are sweet candy sugar with a light fruity bitterness. Diet lemonade with artificial sweetener. OK for what it is.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
50cl bottle from Tesco. An interesting take on the 2.8% concept - blend your beer down to that ABV with lemonade - well that’s what the label says. This ceratinly looks like a "proper" bitter shandy, a fairly dark amber with a billowing white head and some gentle carbonation once it settles down; the aroma has the traditional Burton egginess; the flavour has the expected balance of malts and sweet lemonade, but it’s much sweeter than I’d expect - certainly if I’d made my own shandy from Pedigree and R Whites to hit this ABV. Not bad, particularly the lemonade, but could be better.
