A reasonably priced easy drinker. Just £1 in my local Asda. Thirst quenching. Notes of tea, citrus and a little toffee perhaps. Light in the mouth, you can tell it?s a lower ABV, but that?s no crime. Give it a 7 due to the price. Got a little less interesting the more I drank.

Bottle from Marston’s Classic Ales gift pack at LCBO. Clear straw-gold with a thin bright white head. Subtle aroma of biscuity malt, cut grass and gooseberry. Light and crisp body. Flavour starts with light honey on toast, followed by a wisp of floral hops, and not a lot else. A bit of a let down, really.

Little aroma. Light stone fruit flavours, a little malt. Watery and indistinct. Not actively unpleasant, just meh.

Bottle at home from asda. Clear golden coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is fruity berry, strawberry, grainy, earthy note. Flavour is dull grainy malts, English fruity esters, light sweet. Palate is medium light moderate carbonation. OK bitter with nice fermentation derived fruit esters.

It’s a fluffy and soft beer in mouth. Low in aroma and taste but refreshing. Bread and toast. Some zest in aroma and taste. The main feature is soft texture.

Generally easy drinking and refreshing. First mouthfeel has florally notes and I wondered if it would become sickly for a session. Soon got used to it and very nice for such a low abv bottle. Light and fruity and definitely sessionable at strength. Bit of biscuit in these along with mellow spice. Quite thin, but to be expected at strength. Try it though - you’ll be surprised. Only overall low score as the smell and taste are weak and it drags score down for me. Nice one for a quid a bottle

Bottle from Asda, the majority of which went into a rabbit ragu. The rest is clear gold, with a bubbly, white head. Some sweet malt. Light citrus. Light flora. Taste is a little dry, and a little bitter. Light body. Citrus bitter finish. Not bad.
