Zingy, smooth and always exceptional. Marston’s EPA is a light blonde ale with subtle citrus flavours and a delicate aftertaste. Now that’s refreshingly different.

Bottled, 500ml from a local Co-Op Store. Pale gold with short lived head. This proved to be a thin, grainy, stewed malty beer. There is a slight lemon note, quite lager like in character. Not brilliant.

Nice colour. Low carbonation. Dry finish. Thin body. Inoffensive if unremarkable session ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, some cereal, a little lemon and subtle spicy hops. Taste of grain, some cereal, a little biscuit, slight lemon and subtle vegetable. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A short, grainy bitterness in the finish. Tasteless and thin, like a lager. Better on cask I think.

Biondo chiarissimo, limpida, schiuma bianca frizzantina di media persistenza e compattezza. Al naso tipica bitter inglese un po’ piatta, amaricante, erbacea. Si conferma alla bevuta, estremamente beverina visto il bassissimo grado alcolico. Appena floreale, amaro troppo poco percepibile. Una birra che non colpisce per nulla.

Soapy piss water wasted on the fine water shame typical over manufactured marstons shute. This was rebranded from marks and spencers as stafford ipa poooh

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2015 500ml bottle from ASDA, Telford. Clear yellow golden colour, thin white foam head and fruity citrus aroma. Taste is malty with fruity, citrus notes. Thin watery mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, dry biscuity bitter finish. OK

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Shared with Marko and hrabren. Yellow/golden coloured, small white head, weak fruity nose. Bready soapy taste with mild touch of fruits. Discreet lemony hoppiness. Lack of body is evidant but all in all not bad for what it is.

0.5 l bottle from Pivoteka Zagreb. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Hazy golden, small white to off white head. Floral soapy aroma, no body, medium carbonation. No finish. Some malty character. To light for anything.

Bottle, shared with Ogivlado and Hrabren. Slightly hazy pale golden body. Small white head. Vaguely bready and mostly citric/grapefruity citric aroma. Nice really. Perfumey hoppy, extremely watery taste. Dry hopped water really. Extremely weak bitterness. I mean... seriously? This is extremely tasteless and weak even for 3.6%. Shame.
