Pale orange amber with a creamy, lasting, lacy off-white head. Smells of toadted malt, light fruits and hops. Boring. Medium oily body. Tastes of toasted malt, caramel and light bitter hoppy FInish. Boring and uninteresting.

On cask @ the Black Swan near Penrith. Pours amber with a decent head. The nose has apple and toffee notes. More of the same on the taste. The palate lacks that nice crunchy biscuit texture I like in an English bitter. It is a bit ordinary, Iím afraid.

Cask at The Masons Arms, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour, slightly malty with some weak hoppy bitterness in the palate. Itís a rather pale Pale Ale it has to be said.

Looked like a normal beer. It tasted like someone had left a bowl of cornflakes out to fully dissolve into the milk and just turn into mushy sludge, and then made me drink it. It was rank. I have never had a beer that tasted so foul.
