2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask, Agricultural Hotel, Penrith. A real disappointmet. Harsh, cloying, a bit metallic. The toffee taste doesn’t do much to assist in what is quite an industrial, synthetic tasting beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned handpump Fowler & Co Ryde. A copper to gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A sweet and yeasty bitter. There are odd banana notes. Malt dominated. A perfect example of unadventurousness but a perfectly drinkable beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask at Agricultural Hotel, Penrith. A golden ale with low carbonation. A good session ale that has hints of toffee further down the pint.
