Golden and clear.Claims that it is full bodied on the label but it certainly isn’t.Thin with a trace of maltness. Like the England cricket team it fails to live up to expectations. scotty (834), Scotland

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. Amber with an off white head. Aromas are spiced oranges with dusty, prickly notes. Bitter green woody hops. Flavours are sweet and sour oranges with lots of peppery and grapefruit pith bitterness. Has the usual Marstons caramel lingering. Not too bad. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Aroma was bitter, malt, fruit and oranges. Zesty. Copper orange in colour with a thin head. Bitter flavour malt, also zest and citrus. A little tinny but overall the beer has a bitter sharpness to it which serves up to be refreshing. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 6, 2008 500ml bottle from Asda. Fairly standard British pasteurised beer in a bottle. Boiled sweets and a clean, lifeless malt. Perhaps a bit more dust in the finish than average, but the dust certainly aint fragrant - simply a bittering hop. The bitterness may appeal to some. It’s not my bag - but the beer is drinkable enough.
