Dec 16, 2006 Bottle with a cool stickers that you can see through. A very well-balanced beer. Pours to a brown- almost red colour, with diminishing head. The aroma has grass, bread, cirtus and perfume. The taste isn’t bad either: Sweet and bitter at the same time with citrus, malt and hops. As I said: balanced is the word for this one.

Dec 2, 2006 500 ml bottle. Full malty flavour, then the hops take over to carry it to a rassy finish. My objection is that ti lands on the malty rather than on the grassy side. Marstons don’t brew bad ales, but I rarely find them to do get it totally right.

Nov 17, 2006 Bottled. Copper color with small diminishing head. Sweetish and mellow aroma of parfumy hops, citrus, mango and toffee. Sweetish flavor with salty minerals, some bitterness, caramel, orange marmelade and parfumy english hops. Allthough fulll bodied, light on malt.

Nov 11, 2006 Bottle: pours a clear golden brown colour with a white head; bready, yeasty aroma; citus acidic taste becoming more acidic and bitter with some evidence of the alcohol. Very full, and slightly oily, in the mouth. A well balanced IPA.

Nov 1, 2006 This isn’t bad for an IPA as it has some nice bitter streaks but it seems a bit on the stringent side and some of the tones linger a bit (could be the malt content). It seems a bit perfumey and grassy but it has a nice medium-dry finish. This one seems like the best out of the four pack.

Oct 23, 2006 Golden colour, medium creamy head. Very dry finish, some herbal notes, well balanced. Very pleasant one, refreshing.
