Dried nuts, hints of wood, black coffee infusion & roasted grain are displayed to the nose. Roasted, burnt & watery upfront. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Silky palate & subtle spicy touch. Hints of bitter cocoa, well balanced malts & hops & dried sensation. Sweet finish & slight hop on the aftertaste. Nice drinkability.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Black color , with a creamy cappuccino white-brown head.
Very light with some bitter notes. Not a really bad beer - but overall it has a lack of character and taste.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Almost black with a fast disappearing head. It’s a very dry and tasteless brew with a small sweetness rather than any roasted malts. Fizzes a little in the palate.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg, in the Long Room at Lord’s with Paul. Darkish coke colour, thin foam, off white. Served a bit cold to taste of much. Smooth, in that marketing man’s dream sort of way, when a better word might be bland. Slightly silky mouth feel, not much roasty or hoppy. Bit disappointing really.
