0.5 bottle. Pours almost black with red reflection. Medium brown head, creamy but short lasting.
Light roasted aroma with herbal notes. Coffee and metallic taste, with sweet milky final. Oyster notes in the aftertaste. Light body, too carbonation for the style.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bb 12/2014. Pours dark with a light tan head. Aroma isn't really happening, some toast, a bit of this and that - dull. Light to medium body - thin. Toffee, hazelnut, a little dark fruit. Drinkable, but a bit shit really.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
500 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Clear deep cola blackish brown colour; Razor thin head and soapy residual beige foam which last for 10 seconds; Minimal sticky lacing and notable slight carbonation; Sweet and very light aroma of coffee and milk chocolate, with sugar, caramel and faint grass; Near zero sweet taste of dark roasted malt, with nuts, hint of wet cardboard, Cola, faint toffee and caramel, hint of lime and faint grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth Feel is very thin and watery. Tastes are in dire supply with barely detectable toffee and caramel. Feels like drinking a unsweetened Coke. B-O-R-I-N-G… Almost no hoppiness to speak of, just faint lime and barely detectable grass for a very slightly bitter finish; Wet after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: Neither rich nor smooth, this is nothing more than a watery Porter, and much worse: thin, aromaless, tasteless, almost hopless. A mass-market, buddy-friendly beer water, truly disappointing and totally pointless. It certainly does not deserve to be called a Stout, and I don’t want it anywhere near my oysters. Drain pours!

Very ordinary stout with a modest taste of coffee and chocolate. The oyster was hard to detect. This one could use some more taste.
