Can. Pours opaque black with foamy brown head. Aroma is sweet Finnish licorice with faint notes of ground coffee. Taste is light bitter and medium sweet. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Finish is medium long and dry with notes of chalk, sweet licorice, cough drop and coffee. Very mild, smooth and pleasant beer. No notes of oysters though ;-), bubblegum
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bathory (360) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 7, 2013
Pours a black bolour with a good tan head. Aroma of coffee, dough and some spices. Flavour is mostly coffee, with nuts, dough and some roastyness to it. Medium bitterness in the finish. Quite good palata for just 4,5 % of alcohol. Maybe a bit overcarbonated
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Dragonblaze99 (354) - Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2002
Not much aroma, it’s very faint, almost undetectable. Very dark in color. The flavor is roasty, but rather one-dimensional. Finishes off bitterish.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Beesbeer (349) - WALES - DEC 12, 2012
Not an oyster in sight! However, a great easy drinking stout, fairly well carbonated, with a medium degree of flavour treacle hints. I like to drink this with lavabread, mackerel, or kippers! Nothing better in my world this beer and food combination.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20 mcmisko (347) - New York, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Pours a dark brown with a tan head that quickly dissipates. Some lacing. Smells like the ocean and foal seafood with some roasted malts. Taste is thin with roasted malts and typical stout flavors. Smooth, but watery texture. This beer smells like oyster, but I do not find it pleasant at all. The taste is too thin to really enjoy, so I can’t say I get much from this beer. I guess this is good for people who like strange stinky stouts.

500ml bottle into english pint glass. Pours black, brown held up to light, fizzy head never really materialized. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee/chocolate, some fruit. Taste is smooth and fairly light, could be roastier. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Poured into PLASTIC cup (dear god) at 28 Erbe in Genoa, Italy. Nice color and aroma but nothing of the hearty stouts I know back home. Flat and bland, no character.
