Used to drink a lot of this. Looks the part, being a nice copper brown, yellowy foam head with lots of lacing. Aroma - not much. Taste is a lovely rich bitterness which fades to watery. Nice feel in the mouth. Pretty good aftertaste. It’s not amazing - just a good solid bitter. Like all Midlands beers, it has a hint of factory floor - but in a nice way.

Pours a clear dark amber color, topped with a small white head. A very mildy aroma, some caramel can be noted. The taste is slightly watery and sweet, tiny bittery feel and some nice caramel in the aftertaste. Smooth and easily drinkable.

Bottle from Lidl Battle Hill. Pours dark amber, plenty of carbonation. Good backbone, a strong flavoursome English ale

Sweet malty aroma with a hint of banana. Almost clear amber brown colour with excellent head. Decent malt hit up front with bitter hop finish that is dry. Medium creamy body with low carbonation.

A very nice bitter. Traditional style with a good body, sweet malty flavour and a slightly bitter finish on the tongue

Tap at moon and sixpence. No discernible aroma due to it being windy as fuck outside. Thick creamy off- white head ( think Richie benaud’s bone jacket). Light carbonation with a biscuit thing going on alongside some honey character

Pours amber with white head. Aroma is fruity British yeast, honey, caramel, biscuits and some noble hop spice notes. Fruity and slick palate with low carbonation. Aftertaste is floral, spicy, sweet caramel, citrus and lingering noble hop and fruity finish. Overall: Nice. Not very bold.

A nice bitter. Pours a nice brandy color with lots of foamy white head. Aromas of sweet malts, bubblegum, and some pine. A touch of candy sweetness.. And some ok bitterness. Decent.

Bottle from a friend. 4.5% version. Pours a true copper, off white head, lots of lace. Nose is sweet malt and what I normally associate with adjunct. Tastes sweet, malty and a little bitter on the tongue. Tastes better than it smells.
