Pours a light red/brown coulour with a large white foamy head. Good lacing. Aroma quite fruity, malt. Flavours similar, dry mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation with low to moderate bitterness - 500ml brown bottle.

Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is light caramel and brown toast. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Light skunkiness to it - and light caramel, lemon, hazelnut, grass... Pretty dull but OK.

Clear dark amber with white head. Thin body, low carbonation. Malts dominate the nose - the draught version I used to drink in Manchester had a very distinctive aroma, somewhat sewer related - but none of that here. Slightly soapy, with a lasting bitter finish. Not my favourite English bitter.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden, filtered. Nice head but didn’t last long. Med - high carbonation. Malty sweetness, bread, herbal notes. Quite liked this

Well, it’s very hot out. I’m hot and sweaty and this beer tasted a bit like cream soda and reminded me of my trip to England.

Listed on the bottle as "Martsons Pedigree Exceptional Premium Pale Ale" by an abv of 4.5%. I hope I’ve got the right one. Anyway...Slightly reddish pale body, with whit head, some lacing. Slight sweet malts in the aroma. Taste is sweet malts with a very faint touch of bitterness. A quaffable beer. Pretty typical English ale, nothing too special, but not bad.

Bottled. My first ever ’regular’ cask beer two & a half decades ago. There’s a hint of the sulphury’ Burton snatch’ but its overwhelmed by dry, grassy malt. There’s some cherry on the tongue, sherbert in the finish and dry woody notes in between. Acceptable and middling.

500ml bottle, somewhere in time.
In short: a pretty decent bitter.
Pours some hazy golden with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Malty, some roasty, cereal and honey aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, some crispy texture. Taste follows the nose, some hay hints, flowers, subtle roasty. Enjoyable.

Botella de 500ml. Vaso de ½ pt. Notas terrosas y caramelizadas al destapar. Color cobrizo y apariencia algo velada. ½ pt glass. Earthy & caramel notes as cap is removed. Copper color, chill haze appearance. Off-white medium bubbled froth creates close crown showing fairly good retention & leaving rocky rings. Slight sulfur, wet stone, caramel, slight wood & piney aromas. Sweetish upfront yields to nutty bitterness, slightly grassy & mineralized notes. Medium body. Moderate to low carbonation. Oily to watery texture. Controlled bitterness by malty bed, slight caramel & earthy flavors linger into a dry bitter finish. Biscuit & mild toasted hues on the aftertaste. Nice Session beer.

Bottle sample from old backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor had sweet malts, grainy malts, mild bitterness, lightly toasted bread, really not much going on. Another tick.
