Amber colored pour with a white head. Lots of fruity esters on the nose, some sweet bread and toasted malt, and very light floral hops. A hint of spice and some apple. The flavor is bland and a bit watery. Some bread, mild toast, and very light hop character. No bitterness, mild floral notes, some fruit esters, and sort of just a bland sweetness to the beer overall.

When you head into a bar with one hand-pull on, and it is this, you accept it. It looks good, but the faint hoppy aroma and watery taste make it one to avoid if you DO have a choice.

On tap @ the Old Post Office, Shrewsbury. Poursdark amber with a decent head. The nose is of apples and caramel. The taste is of caramel shortbread with apple finish. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a dry fairly refreshing finish. Overall, a decent ale.

A good beer to have with curry, light malt taste with a slightly lemon aftertaste. At 5% it doesn’t taste this strong so be warned!
