Bland and weak. Very light floral notes and a noticeable absence of hops. Lacking in the flavour department. Aftertaste is slightly mineral like and reminiscent of citrus peel. More like a below average lager than an ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

20 oz. cask serving at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL., showing a cloudy, orange color, with very persistent, silky, soft white froth, and an equally lasting, blanket of lacing. The aroma was fruity & slightly tart, with hints of sulfur that came off as a combination of chemical, metal, & rust. Light bodied, with low to no effervescence, the taste seemed thin & washed out, with some Kool-Aid like sweetness, mild tartness & spice, and a low, earthy & lingering bitterness. A fair palate cleanser at best.
