Cask@The White Hart, Ashby, Leicestershire. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is quite well hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with lots of toffee and dryness. Overall a really well hopped English bitter quite nice.

Little to comment on. Served out the beer engine with a sparkler, so great mouth feel, but did nothing for the aroma or any hops, if they were present. By no means bad, but neither great or exciting.

Cask@ Blue Stoops Chesterfield. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Not that it had that far to go,but it,s now at rock bottom. Looks lighter coloured than it used to be and must be brewed by a YTS who hates his job. Having this stuff alongside John Smith,s cask and Tetleys would kill off binge drinking in an instant. Maybe the government should take note.

Cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweet malt nose, light fruits, white bread. Medium sweet flavor with sugary fruits, peach, citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent condition. Sweet finish with some toasty hay, more sweet fruits. Basic but fine. Drinkable stuff.

Cask at Penny Black,Kidderminster.Dark amber pour with whitish head.Thin on aroma but a bit of malt there.Malt and some slight fruit taste making a not unpleasant and reasonable session beer.Certainly not the beer it once was.

Cask at the Moat House Acton Trussel on my birthday meal 5 January 2013. Quite pleasant appearance with a slight gentle sweetness. Its funny how your memory changes over time but i a am sure that this use to be a classy bitter. What happened? Is it something to do with marketing mem and accountants?

light amber and small white head slight hop floral aroma slightly sweet and lightly bitter taste - quite bland very watery disappointing

Clear light copper with small white foam head, lacing. Aroma is light malty with some caramel tones. Taste is slight sour malt. Short somewhat sour bitter aftertaste. (Humberside 201212)

Slight floral smell. Watery body. Tastes of not much. It's not horrible but it's not nice exactly. It IS about 1000% times better than the keg version though.
