sm89walt (176), Norwich, Norfolk, England Sep 3, 2007 Wetherspoon’s, Norwich. This is a highly unremarkable bitter in my opinion. Unatracttive ’barnyard’ aroma. Clear orange appearance with minimal head. Medium hoppy taste delivered with a thin body and a basic bitter finish. Certainly one I shall not be returning to anytime soon.
MrAleman (77), guildford, Surrey, England Aug 30, 2008 Updated: Sep 6, 2008Not a beer i’d choose on a regular basis. Extremely bitty. Can get this at cheapish prices from most Wetherpoon brances. The taste was of malt followed by a citrus flavour.. fairly uninteresting ale really - better to choose something different. shoestring (165), larkhall, Scotland Aug 26, 2008 Subtle, well balanced and easy to drink indeed. (The Ship Inn, North Berwick -- as one of their guest ales.) MiP (5025), Flensburg, Germany Aug 24, 2008 Cask. Clear amber colour. No head. Quite fruity flavour, some rough bitterness in the good way. Quite subtle, but well-balanced and drinkable. gary07734 (141), Tyne & Wear, England Aug 10, 2008 Classic pale bitter look and smell, a small ammount of bitterness, some sweetness and straw. Not bad. yespr (6373), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From cask at Heathrow terminal 5. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild roasted caramel malty. Flavour is light roasted and bitter malty. Light fruity and roasted malty finish.
