Tradpint (9) - Amersham, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2016 does not count
Good head, lively condition. Enjoyable sweetness at first balanced by that malty dryness. Moreish. A lot better out of a bottle than Bass and not that much dearer.

UXO (1246) - CANADA - APR 12, 2016
Appearance: clear pale to medium amber with one finger of loose ivory head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: biscuity caramel and toffee, fruity esters, grassy and earthy. (5/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (5/10) Palate: medium body tending to watery, moderate to low carbonation, off-dry mildly bitter finish. (3/5) Not much to say about this: biscuity malt leads the way, finishing with a mild earthy bitter. A very typical pub pint. (10/20)

huineman (517) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 2, 2016
Pours sparkling dark amber. Tan head, rapidly disappearing. Mild aromas of biscuit, toffee and redcurrant. Fizzy, watery and light. Strong notes of malt in the medium bitter finish. Quite persistent.

Fatehunter (2050) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAR 22, 2016
Pours a finger of head on an almost clear dark straw body. The aroma has a nice dark fruit and grain smell. The taste is malty sweetness with a touch of lemon bitterness. The texture is a bit too fizzy. Fairly enjoyable.

sinte (475) - Udine, ITALY - MAR 17, 2016
Bottle 0.5L. Clear copper body with large, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing though; low density of tiny bubbles. Moderate hoppy (herbal) aroma with fruity notes. Moderate sweet flavour with light-to-moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation.

500ml bottle. Malty biscuity bitter. It’s ok, but I’d like more flavours and aromas personally.

Pours light amber, slight head. Smells a bit like a tin can. Medium mouthful, low carbonation. Malt flavours upfront changing to bitter finish. ok but not fantastic

A smooth rich bitter that is easy to drink with a nice sweet centre. Easy to find and usually enjoyable every time.

Just bottled brown beer, I remember drinking this years ago on draught, and it had a far more interesting malt flavour.

Towey1989 (1448) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, some red berries and musty, earthy hops. Taste of sweet caramel, red berries, some mineral, subtle biscuit and slight earthy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, biscuity malt bitterness in the finish. This is disappointing, like a cheap bitter shandy. Light, malty and slightly minerally. Better on cask.
