Marstons Pedigree Pale AleAlso known as Marstons Pedigree (Bottle) | |
Commercial description In 1952, Sydney Everfshed, the chairman of Marston, Thompson and Evershed, announced "We are now marketing our best pale ale under the name Pedigree Pale Ale, because it is descended from a long line of famous brews and is a thoughrougbread brew." To celebrate 60 glorious years under the name Pedigree, we have brought back the origional bottle label from 1952. Just like in 1952, Pedigree is still craft brewed in Burton Unions using the finest English ingredients The brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
