Poured copper with off white head into an english pint glass and left visible lacing. Smells slightly floral with an almost doughy toffee-like flavor finishing crisp with slight bitterness from the noble hops. Decent, not really anything to write home about.

A: Dark copper with a beige head that is small in its short lifespan S: Sweet roasted malts with floral hops T: Balanced hops and malts like the aroma, not as complex as one would like but in proportion and enjoyable M: Crisp medium bodied pale ale with a healthy amount of carbonation O: Smooth enough to consume a few before calling it quits

Bottle at Big Bamboo in Shanghai. Pours a small, white, frothy head. Good lacing. Leaves a tight ring. Hazy, copper body. Aroma of light raisin with a touch of biscuit. Bready flavor with more raisin/pitted fruit. A little woodsy must. Touch of grape and brown sugar. Medium body is sweet up front with deceptive bitterness. Relatively sweet finish with lingering earthy hops. Light carb enhances the body. Overall enjoyable and sessionable. A nice find in Shanghai - good that Sam Adams was ’mayo’!
