3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Auchan Market, Luxembourg City!
Limited Edition. Bottle: 353245
The beer in the glass is lovely amber colored with a flat, fine creamy head. It smells hoppy, floral, with some hay and grain in the background. Starts hoppy-bitter, slightly sweet-caramelly. The middle part is very grainy and caramelly, in the background slight bready. Overall, still very sweet. Goes into a bready-sweet finish with a lot of caramel, grain and some hay, coupled with beautiful UK - aroma hops!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mittleres Bernstein, reichlich Schaum.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a clear amber colour, with a thin white head. The aroma was of caramel and malt and was rather strong. The flavour is medium to high bitter, with oaky alcoholic notes and chewy caramel. The palate is smooth and the bitterness sticks around for a while to deliver a very refreshing ale. Serve this "warm" and you won’t be disappointed. Drinking it cold destroys the flavours!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. It’s pouring a small, off-white head over a clear, dark golden body. The aroma has some notes of butterscotch, but is mostly fruity. Apples, pears and some notes of dried apricots. Lightly malty, very boring. Medium body, dry and softly carbonated. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with pale malts, fruityness and some faint butterscotch. Not much impact from the brandy cask staves. Bitter finish. A quite decent beer, but oh so utterly boring. 121124
