500ml Bottle. This pours a clear amber with a medium white head that lasts the distance. Its aroma is yeast, and citrus. its taste is citrusy with hints of caramel and a slightly smokey dry bitter finish that you get with Belgian yeasts. And thats a key point missed by the naming of this beer. Its a BELGAIN SAISON.. and quite frankly the best Belgian Saison Ive tasted so far outside of Belgium!

Bottle, 500 ml. Pours a murky orange/amber with a little bit of soapy white head, which sticks around for quite a while. Sharp fruity notes on the nose; lemon, lime, apple, orange, all backed up by a hefty dosage of pungent, cheesy yeast and some caramel malt characteristics. L Taste is a bit non-descript, though subdued fruity notes (mostly apple and citrus) are still present, along with some grassy hop notes, slight caramel undertones, and of course the yeast. While there’s a fair few flavours going on, everything tastes a little stale and off, which the watery nature does little to improve. Moderate carbonation, light body, not too smooth. Not the best example of the style but far from undrinkable.

Sehr fein.

Bottle from Tesco in Eastbourne. The beer pours out in a hazy amber colour with airy low head and medium body. Aroma of grains and nuts with some hints of barley. Taste of mild hops, straw, dust, grains, bread, cake and flowers. Hints of nuts and herbs. Refreshing and easy drinkable. Enjoyed it a lot.

50cl bottle from Tescos, Camberley. An attractive pale gold pour with a billowing white head; floral aroma with a trace of yeast; soft, dry and fruity in the mouth; with a gently herbal finish giving a touch of peppery heat. Very well made - the best Banks’s beer I’ve tried in a long while.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear golden colour with a foamy white head. Malty aroma, with some wheat. Grassy hop flavours, with some tropical and citrus fruit. Finish is dry.

as pale orange coloured beer with a frothy but weak white head. A malty aroma, but fruity, there's an element of Turkish delight, along with caramel, then a more zesty fruit aroma. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, malt led, with a candy-like flavour, again Turkish delight and caramel, then a tart, slightly grassy hop flavour, pithy citrus fruit and a hint of vinous white wine, which all adds up to a refreshing finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Tesco. Second of the Marston revisionist I’ve tried, and I’m even more impressed with this one. Light amber, not much aroma. Lightly bittered, gentle carbonation. Floral honey, apricot. Could drink this all day.

Amber colour. A bit orange. Very slightly cloudy. Tastes like smoked hops and leaves a taste at the back of the throat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Very pleasant fruitiness with hops in the back ground. Far better than I expected. In fact I couldn’t believe that it came from Marstons. Well done them.
