An interesting ale from a top brewery. Genuinely interesting drop, could have done with a stronger flavour but all in all very drinkable.

Very clear, light copper in colour with some coarse carbonation. A thin head which falls to only a partial cover on the beer quickly. Lovely full hoppy aroma with a malty undertone. Crisp, hoppy flavour but with a nice full body and some maltiness to balance.

Flowery aroma on opening.Quite malty and poured flat. Not one of Marstons best bottled beers but still pretty decent.

Aroma is probably too strong for the mild flavor. Not a bad beer at all, especially to be refreshed. No head. Lots of bubbles. The word malt in the title and bitter in the category seem mislabeled, as this tastes like a lager (albeit one of the best I’ve had if compared to other lagers).

Perhaps more malts in palate than other Marston’s beers. Quite ordinary but does have hints of pedigree.
