3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden yellow with thick smooth foam head, lips ticking and making drinking rings to glass. Aroma is nice bitter hops, so is taste. A damn good beer, in particular ad I was thirsty. Short bitter aftertaste. (Humberside 201212)

[650-20070922] Tap @ Fox & Hounds (Oxford, OX). Faint aroma has a little grainy fruit. Clear, orange light brown body with a huge and long-lasting creamy off-white head and thick lacing. Mild citrus flesh orange sweetness and light squash flavour. Super creamy and smooth medium body. Definitely lives up to its name, in excellent condition.

in the past my way around finding a drink was this: in a hot summer I would take a very cold lager, all other seasons I would go for anything but a lager .... meanwhile the lager brews are facing serious competition not only from IPAís but also from brews like this: a lightweight topfermented ale with only 3.6 ABV (so you might enjoy a few pints to quench your thirst) ...

Smooth crisp golden ale with a thick creamy head on it. Has a fruity pale ale aroma and some of this is carried through in its taste.

On Tap at Northwich Victoria FC Marstons Arena, Wincham 08/11/2009
Some malt aroma. Thick white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and a little hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.
A memorable day for the Conference North side as they caused a shock beating Charlton Athletic of League One by a 1-0 scoreline in the FA Cup First Round.

just another english smooth beer, these beers are about a nickel a dozen, not saying they are bad, but they are everywhere in england. perhaps a mildly bitter hop taste mixed in the smooth body.

Cask pint, Horse And Jockey, Bentley. Delicate hop fruitiness and very lengthy biscuity afters. About 2mins long. Almost lager-like deep amber pint. Not too much Gilette. A nibble of sourish woodsiness. Completely unexpectedly, Beer Of The Evening.

500 ml can. Typical nitro-can pour, slowly seperating to give a creamy off-white head above a gold body; stale, malty aroma; more flavour than most of its type, and a definite Marstonís feel to it - quite fruity and dry at the same time. Overall not bad for a nitro-bitter.
