2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2008
Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden colour with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Sweet malt aroma with a touch of hay. Flavour was also sweet with a decent dry finish. Not bad for a lager.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hughie (3993) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2007
Gold with a lasting white head. Faint malt aroma. Sweet roasted malt taste with some bitterness. Better than some of its kind, but not very wonderful.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2007
Bottle. A fairly typical Belgian lager in the style of Stella Artois or Jupiler. Less hopping than I expected and it feels a little flat. Nothing wrong with it.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 johndoughty (2946) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2007
Not a strong lager but slightly better than I had expected. A bit tinny which was worrying as it was from a bottle. Some bitterness and not really that offensive-just not one to try again.
1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 maeib (6645) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2007
Bottled. A yellow gold coloured lager with a white head. The aroma is pretty nasty grassiness and notes of cabbage water and can be smelt from quite a distance. The taste is fairly bitter but there’s a bit of a sweet metal. Not the type of beer I think of when I think of Belgium.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 johninmelb (748) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2007
A watery, immensely boring lager with nothing to distinguish it in any way.

Sniffs of grass and beeswax. Yellowish pale gold with a thinning white head. Cheap malt graininess and metal. Astringently bitter finish. Drinking rainwater from a rusty tuna tin.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2007
500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pale straw in colour, vaguely grassy aroma; a fluffy white head; a sweet flavour with a metallic edge; doen’t deserve the "premium" tag.
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2007
Bottle, Sainsburys Kidlington. Gold in colour, large white fluffy head, sweet, some hops and malt but ultimately very forgettable.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2007
Bottle (from Sainsburys, BB Oct 07), labelled just as 5 Flags. Sweet and grainy. A few hints of grassy hops. Not particularly thirst quenching and you wouldnt want to drink this for the flavour.
