2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from the LCBO- Pale sparkling gold, with a tiny white head. Simple nose of pale malts, some biscuit, lemongrass. Sweet and grainy, a bit of grassy bitterness. Very quick finish, light bodied. Good for the price.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
500 ml.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is grainy with a small hop profile. Taste is dry hop profile with a nice grain/grassy malt. Solid pilsner.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not worth going into detail. This beer while drinkable is totally forgettable. Well below Belgium standards.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear golden with a decent white head.
Aroma: Faintly metallic, some grassy hops, weak cereals/grains, that’s about it.
Palate: Medium body, fine effervescence.
Flav.: Wet cardboard and weak cereal/grain, much less hops (not that there was much on the nose to begin with), still a touch metallic, boring; dry with a little bitterness and a fairly lacklustre finish, a touch of fruity malt and a touch of metallic note.
Certainly not Belgium’s best.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a lightly hazed pale gold lager in the glass with a 1 finger white rocky cap. Moderate carbonation, weak lacing.
Aroma is subtle - light wafts of malt, earthy hop notes and a light dextrin (LME?) sweetness.
Flavor is rounded but balance tends toward the hopping. Fairly 2 dimensional but clean, some LME dextrin notes and a weird piercing hop bite in the end - probably the product of hop extract.
A pleasant inoffensive commercial Euro-lager. I detected some portion of malt and hop extract as is expected in a commercial vollbier. It is inoffensive, quenching but at $1.90 a half liter can there are better choices in traditional beers for the same price or less..

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500mL can from an LCBO 4-pack. Pale gold with a small white froth. Aroma is not much, some pale malt with no hops and no skunk. Flavour is a tad overly sweet with the pale malt body, green apple and not enough bitterness in the finish to balance it out. Ingredients list ’unmalted cereals’ which is likely a fancy way of saying shitty corn and rice. There’s just so little to say. I’ll have to inhale the other cans after working up a heavy sweat. Figures the LCBO would go ahead and bring in the least interesting beers from the most interesting beer countries. *rolles eys*
