500ml can from a 4 pack purchased at the lcbo for $7.60. pours clear yellow with a lasting white head. simple lightly sweet nose with a touch of light hopping. the flavour has some light cereal sweetness. the body is fluffy and the finish is blalanced. pretty drinkable for $1.90 per can.

Pours a lightly hazed pale gold lager in the glass with a 1 finger white rocky cap. Moderate carbonation, weak lacing. Aroma is subtle - light wafts of malt, earthy hop notes and a light dextrin (LME?) sweetness. Flavor is rounded but balance tends toward the hopping. Fairly 2 dimensional but clean, some LME dextrin notes and a weird piercing hop bite in the end - probably the product of hop extract. A pleasant inoffensive commercial Euro-lager. I detected some portion of malt and hop extract as is expected in a commercial vollbier. It is inoffensive, quenching but at $1.90 a half liter can there are better choices in traditional beers for the same price or less..

500mL can from an LCBO 4-pack. Pale gold with a small white froth. Aroma is not much, some pale malt with no hops and no skunk. Flavour is a tad overly sweet with the pale malt body, green apple and not enough bitterness in the finish to balance it out. Ingredients list ’unmalted cereals’ which is likely a fancy way of saying shitty corn and rice. There’s just so little to say. I’ll have to inhale the other cans after working up a heavy sweat. Figures the LCBO would go ahead and bring in the least interesting beers from the most interesting beer countries. *rolles eys*

From a can poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

Clear, bright gold appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Muted aroma, mostly cereal grains. Sweet, slightly vegetal, marginally hopped taste. Fizzy, light bodied mouthfeel with a short lived finish.

This is a surprisingly mild pilsner from Belgium. The flavor is slightly malty with a minimal hoppiness. The color is a a clear light brown hue with a mild head. The overall flavor is one of slight vineous chardonnay with a touch of fruitiness. Overall very drinkable!

The aroma is cheap and weak with malt and light grassy hops. The appearance is golden with a medium head for the style. The taste is clean and inoffensive with a refreshing quality. The palate is smooth from carbonation and the finish clean and lightly hoppy. Overall I don’t hate it, it’s a good beer to have on a hot day and fits the style quite well. Also, it makes great beer bread!

0,5L green plastic bottle. Pale yellow body with a medium wet head. Relatively fresh bready aroma with some faint hops. Taste is initially sweet and malty but the finish reveals weak bitterness that is vaguely cardboardy. Not bad.

Countbeer (5337) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 13, 2011
Can: Big white fluffy head on top of a darker yellow colored beer. Smell malts, corn, grain, spices and dust. Crispy taste of malts, hops, light bitter and a hint of something sweet. Ok pilsener.
