Bottled 0,25L. Dense and compact foam, optimal duration. Limpid yellow color, a lot shining and lively. Slightly alcoholic and bitterish scent, light note of malt. Fresh taste, much tingly and fizzy. Bitter and of short duration end.

Die Schaumkrone hält recht gut, es riecht wässrig, hopfig. Geschmacklich ist es das gleiche knapp überdurchschnittlich gehopft mit viel Wässrigkeit, so das der Hopfengeschmack leider auch nicht positiv rüberkommt! Test vom 9.12.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,3,3,4,7,3 - 4,15

0.5L. can sample at an anti-facist march in Tel Aviv. Thanks Ambar for sharing. Drank straight from can so metal was dominant in the aroma, taste and aftertaste. Other than that, grainy aroma, lagerish bitterness, light body and lively carbonation.

30 cl. bottle @ home. Golden yellow with a white head. Grassy smell. Surprisingly strong bitter taste. Slightly metallic taste but certainly not bad for a budget pilsener.

Can from the LCBO. Light golden colour with a slight haze and white layer on top that is too thin and scummy looking to call a "head". Aroma of sweet and cheap lager - dirty malt, bit of corn, anemic hops - with more booze in the background than I should be getting from a 5% beer. Body is actually not bad, at least while it’s cold - fairly crisp and palate cleansing - but once it warms, it starts to get sticky. Flavour is pretty much what the aroma promises - too-sweet malt, hops that are paradoxically barely there and harsh in the throat, and a finish reminiscent of creamed corn. In a word: Yuck.

Light golden colour, white head. Aroma of grass, hay and grains. Flavour light bitter, light malty, quite sweet. Short bitter finish. Light and refreshing, not a lot of flavour.

Can. Grass aromas -- actually more like mouldering lawn cuttings, leaves. Clear gold straw, almost no head. Flavors: more grass, with a tiny bit of sweetness, and just barely detectable bitter notes in final. Very thin. Cheap ingredients for export?

30cl bottle. Golden color with small, white head. The aroma is grassy and taste is malt. Not the pest pilsner.

Can. Mild hops, grain, cereal, somewhat skunky. Decently bitter finish. Doesn’t really accomplish much, but is right up there with the rest of the macro Euro lagers.

500 ml can Martens Pilsener 5% ABV Clear lager yellow, receding white head. Yeasty, citrus aroma. Sweet grainy malt taste, slightly sour, skunky and metallic. Oily texture, average carbonation, low hopped. Dry bitter finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Can shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear light golden color with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy, corn, grassy; actually not much going on. The flavor is grainy, corn, some metallic notes. This serves as a tick, not much more.
