Tall can: Pours clear gold with a tall white head. Grassy, grainy malt aroma. Taste is cardboard, grainy bitter. Basically...just unpleasant.

Can. Thought this would go under one of the other two ratings. This is 4.8% ABV and shows Martens Pilsener in the logo and Premium Pilsener beneath it. Gold bodied with a tall foamy white head. Sweet and slightly don’t aroma with cereal grains and grassy notes. Taste is sweet malt corn syrup, cereal grains and light grassy hops. Body is light-medium and moderately carbonated. Finishes with more cereal grains, grassy hops and sweet mal notes.

Aromas is grains and beery. The flavor is similar to the aroma along with a crisp, mildly hoppy finish. Decent enough.

Sample from can. Clear gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is grainy, faint metallic notes, light fruitiness, old grain, a tad dusty. Taste is lightly sweet, husky. Palate is light, good carbonation. Dull.

500 ml. can. Pours a pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of grain, malt, and grass. Taste is the same with some metallic coming through. Nothing bad, but very plain.

Canned. Called premium pilsner, but it is 4.8% as per the) listing. Deep gold color with a bright white head. Doughy and grainy nose with some floral hints. This smells rich and sweet. This tastes like boiled sweet potatoes and dough. Notes of flowers present. A decent canned brew. Light and inoffensive.

Small pour from a can. Thanks to Franky Boy! Clear golden with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is of grain and is somewhat fresh. Taste is also of grain with skunky notes a light bitterness. Crisp, refreshing, drinkable and not as bad as I thought it would be. Hey, I even think I could be able to drink a whole can by myself.

Can. Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a smallish white head on there. Nose has stale corn and grains and seems like it’s going bad. Taste isn’t much better, as it’s a bit cloyingly sweet and almost sticky. Not a good one.

Can from Total wine Sterling. Smells like what I would imagine the Outkast planet of Stankonia to smell like. It’sgrassy funk. doesn’t taste like much on the tongue. has a weird kind of aftertaste. Ugh!

Pours perfectly pale with a tight white head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma strikes a balance between that terrible breakfast cereal malt and some nice bright malt. It’s got some mild herbal hops in there as well.

The flavor isn’t bad, it retains some decent herbal character. There is some defendant tinniness to it & more breakfast cereal than I would prefer. There is however some decent bright maltiness. Certainly one of the best Belgian interpretations of pale lager I’ve had.

Palate is lively and sharp.
