3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Comes to the table a deep brown with faint garnet highlights and a decent khaki head that musters light staying power. The aromas of caramel and light chocolate with hints of dried fruits and lightly spicy earthy hops for balance. The flavor is sweet with brown sugar and hints of caramel and chocolate. Light spicy earthy hops and a hint of bread and yeast round out the flavors nicely. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. This is beer is described as an un-spiced version of their winter warmer. I thought it was a decent beer, nothing special, but quaffable just the same.
