An inviting, 5% a.b.v. ale that we call a breakfast beer. Modeled after a bowl of cereal,itís made with barley, wheat, oats and rye, and is finished with honey. The hop character in this beer is subtle and lends hints of black currant and mint. We ferment this beer very dry and add milk sugar to create a delicate and unique sweetness. The large quantities of honey and specialty grains enable this lower-alcohol refresher to provide a unique taste thatís like a sunrise in your mouth.

Breakfast beer! What a concept. Floral aroma. Hints of citrus and spice but not a lightweight when it comes to body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is lightly hazed bright gold with lots of a thick white head. Nose is heavy grain, cereal and wheat bread, light cream note and some grassy hops. Taste has some whole grain bread up front with a stronger cream note, slightly like cream soda. Cereal is strong in finish, hops faintly herbal and spicy. Medium body with a soft feel and good carbonation.

Had it out of a can. Clean and crisp to start with a subtle sweet back end and notes of wheat and grain. Feel like it's exactly what they were aiming for. Reminiscent of childhood Cheerios.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the can with fluffy off-white head that lasts to leave good lace. Aroma is sweet bready grain, I could see oatmeal with honey. Taste is more on the beer with what and honey side, but not terrible. Creamy mouth and good carbonation. Better when sipped straight from the can.

On tap at the Gingerman pub Dallas. Poured a clear golden color with amazing lacing. Taste of dishwater, slight honey, slight wheat, pretty void of flavor quite honestly. High carbonation, thin watery body. Meh.

Can. Pours a deep gold with a high, white head that not only leaves lace, but actually sticks to the side of the glass in some sort of bizarre cave formation-like pattern. Nose is honey, milk, a touch of aluminum, and baked bread. Sweet on the front of the palate, with definite honey notes; there is some minty hops in there, but itís mostly malty sweetness. Oats and wheat are clear on the palate; thereís an almost gelid richness to this beer. Deceptively complex for a beer of this style.

On draft. Well. Iíve never had anything like this. Kind of an ugly, cloudy yellow color. But the flavor... what a crisp, clean progression through corn flakes, oats, barley... I donít taste the wheat (or the honey), but so what? Very thin hop presence. Really interesting experiment that comes off well.

Golden straw clear pour. Corse white head. Bready lager aroma. Very mild floral hop aroma. Light body. Much different flavor from aroma. Honey shines. Floral. Lemon. I don't notice the maltose, but it is also not as dry as most honey beers. More flavor than appears or smells. ---Rated via iPhone

Clear golden with a big nose of golden malt and Pilsen grains, maybe a bit of toast as well. The flavor explodes with toasted English muffin and blonde grains. Thatís basically it; dry, and loads of bread grains. But has a huge body.
