COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An inviting, 5% a.b.v. ale that we call a breakfast beer. Modeled after a bowl of cereal,itís made with barley, wheat, oats and rye, and is finished with honey. The hop character in this beer is subtle and lends hints of black currant and mint. We ferment this beer very dry and add milk sugar to create a delicate and unique sweetness. The large quantities of honey and specialty grains enable this lower-alcohol refresher to provide a unique taste thatís like a sunrise in your mouth.

Poured a light amber color with aromas of light honey, some feint wheat, and a touch of sweetness. Flavors match the aromas, its an interesting beer, but it did not grow on me.

Tap@Flying Saucer, Fort Worth, USA. Light earthy aromas of wheat. Yellow color with medium creamy head. Light smooth taste of artificial wheat. Narrow taste spectrum and short wheaty aftertaste. Medium body with light carbonation. Very light and poor in every way. Palate would be ok in 8% series.

Pours hazy copper with a large off-white head. Smells of sweet grains and subtle hint of honey. Taste is sweetness, grain, kiss of honey. Light-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, Martin House Day Break finishes with a lingering sweetness.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a small white head that dissipated very quickly leaving no lacing. The aroma is honey, oats, and sweetness. The aroma wasnít all that special but it is quite extraordinary in the flavor. In the taste, I pick up the honey, the sweetness from the milk sugar, oats, and some hops mixed in there as well. This beer is quite complex.

First beer from this new company.. Day Break is billed as a breakfast beer modeled after a bowl of cereal. Aromas of honey, wheat, some nuts, and i can smell the sweetness from the milk, and a touch of booze, not too bad. Body is a orange/ yellow body, kinda hazy the cap reduced down and is leaving some spotty lace. Flavors of malts, nuts, cereal, the sweetness nor the honey really come through. Overall its a nice enough sipper, yeah i would try it again.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2015 Pour: hazy, golden yellow w/ a med head. Lots of carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass. Smell: white bread, grains, floral hops, rye, light citrus. Taste: A lot different than the smell - oats, rye, light hops, light malt, honey & faint alcohol. smooth, creamy, sweet, semi-dry finish. A unique brew - I think itís done right. :)

I have a massive sweet tooth, so I enjoyed the cream soda-like flavor. Visually, it's a beautiful beer. Haha. I think the makers did what they wanted to do. It will taste good one morning in New Orleans, when I'm trying not to remember the night before... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
