Aroma: bread, resin, citrus, earthy; Appearance: pale, cloudy, with frothy, white head with good lacing. Taste: medium sweetness, again citrusy and slightly sour. Palate: light to medium body, with lively carbonation, quite bitter finish. Not bad at all
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 29, 2011
My Bottom Line :
Talkative pils malt flavors engage herbal, spicy hops in a refreshing conversation from aroma to finish for a refreshing pint of unfiltered Pilsener.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam laces around the cloudy whitish yellow (this looks like a Witbier!).
-I love the fact that this is the lightest beer of the bunch abv-wise, but it is the most flavorful. Good job!
-The prickly carbonation remains soft when hitting the palate.
-Citrusy flavors rise from the spicy hops.
On tap at the brewpub.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2011
Draught at the brauhaus Cloudy blond color; creamy head. Mild malt and hop aroma, some noble hops appears. The malt profile is mild, but the combination of light crispness, extreme dryness and high bitterness creates a very refreshing impact; long final, although the hop doesn’t carry many aromatic qualities. Good.

Had at Martins Bräu in Freiburg. More buttery than I thought a Pils would be. Over all nice. Slightly cloudy appearance.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2008
[growler from brewpub]
Spicy, oxidized candy aroma with a touch of sulfur and some caramel. Faint notes of citrus and banana. Hazy dark gold with a bubbly white lacy cover. Slightly sulfury, fresh flavour that is nice and dry with some lotus root malt and a crisp bitterness. The sulfur and maybe a little diacetyl sort of makes this beer a little popcorny, but in a good way. Light to medium body, crisp and clean finish.
